HELP WANTED!!!!!!! At Glastonbury 1981 a band played called Decline and Fall. On the running order they are described as ex-Only Ones but it also describes John Cooper Clarke as Liverpool's Beat Poet!! Any info gratefully received Thanks

Truly fantastic band and definitely were not punk - at least in the UK sense. There's a really engaging book on Peter Perret by Nina Antonia who was also Johnny Thunders biographer, which really explains the rise and fall of this amazing star crossed band.

Hey Kids - saw these guys in Bristol a couple of times in the late 70's. I can still smell the Patchouli on all the hippies! What's so enduring about them is they never wanted to be punks - they were just marketed that way.
