I feel like this album is a little secret and I like it that way. [2]

Why on earth would anyone ever put Berbatov on their album cover? [4] Exactly! Big mistake! They should have gone with Micheal Owen. (that's the same mistake Fergie did in MUTD)

This is a very good album, but I kind of got bored near the end, something I can't say about most other National albums.

So very, very bad cover. I hate it. I love some of the songs in the album. But damn, that cover... it's ugly. One of the worst I've seen.

Just getting into it. So far, the album for me is really, very consistantly, "Hmm... not bad."

I love The National and all, and I realize that everything has to have a beginning. That said, while this album does have its high points, its lows are really low. Really low. The amount of evolution their sound underwent between here and Sad Songs is astounding. The evolution between this album and Alligator, Boxer, or High Violet; it's a bit hard to believe the band even has any of the same people in it.
