The Mavericks were a Grammy Award-winning alternative country music band founded in 1989 in Miami, Florida, United States. To date, they have recorded eight studio albums, in addition to charting fourteen singles on the U.S. Billboard country charts.
Lead singer Raul Malo currently records as a solo artist, while former drummer Jaime Hanna is currently one-half of the duo Hanna-McEuen.

Country isn't my favorite genre but i do like some. Mavericks have some of the best song's for beak up's and ect. Like 'There Goes My Heart'. Im surprised that they don't have listener's although alot of good country doesn't have much listener's on this site.
