The Jimi Hendrix Experience foi uma famosa banda britânica/americana de Rock de grande influência, apesar da curta carreira, que teve como líder o músico Jimi Hendrix.

Foi por esta banda que Jimi Hendrix gravou a maior parte das suas mais famosas músicas como “Purple Haze”, “Foxy Lady”, “Fire”, “Hey Joe”, “Voodoo Child (Slight Return)”, “All Along the Watchtower” e “Spanish Castle Magic”.

Embora Jimi Hendrix tenha sido o líder da banda, os outros dois integrantes (o baixista Noel Redding e o baterista Mitch Mitchell) foram também dois importantes músicos vitais para a banda.
