It's simple: people are stupid. Thay like to pick up stuff that TV gives to them. Such as music, fashion, phrases, jokes, standarts, and all that junk you can see under that blue screen. Problem is that many people do not filtring anything, just take what they're seing.This is stupid, but this is how it works. So, actually it IS normal.

I don't really mind what listen or what don't do people, but I don't generalize...I just explain the reality of a big percentage of people (who have discovered the frames in the last year) ...the frames in the last year means ONCE and now HOUSE for many people.....and most of that people don't bother in discover new songs of the same band..... It seems a comment of a megafan or sth still worst...but I always have loved music, and nowadays I can see people getting obsessed with one song/band just because it is on fashion (tv, movie or twilight.....) It is hard to explain in one message without seems a freak or crazy fan (that of course I am not) ....anyway....

@ FOscor I know what you're trying to say, but the fact that some people got to know this song through a House episode, doesn't mean they're not open minded ;) Maybe some people do in fact acquire all their music from tv shows and such, but don't generalize ;)

It sounds like when I listened the frames driving a friend always told me to put sth more funnier but now it is a brilliant song. It is completly the opposite to be a close-mind. As open.mind I listened the songs that I find (internet, from friends, recommendations) and I just not listen the music that appears in the latest tv series or advertisement...And close mind is criticize some music and then (months or years later) love it because it is on TV. I'm not saying that it is your case, but at least in Spain it is the case of many people (and now I'm not talking about this song or group).
