Gah! sorry about that, i didn't really get the meaning at first., it seemed like you were being snippy or something, but yeah, i know what you mean. And i know that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I'm not trying to conform you, i just wish this entire conversation never happened. But i'm sure it'll be buried and out of sight eventually.

if I play everything? so now i represent the Brew? I'm just speaking out against haters, if you want to hear some music to prove you wrong just listen to a couple songs by them, please, humor me. I don't want to fight with you, i really don't, i just want to prove to you that they do have talent, despite the fact that they play a diversity of music. look at this link http://thebrew.biz/music.php. select -music- and look at the songs "Back to the Woods" "Definitions" and maybe if you wanna go through the effort go to this place: http://thebrew.bandcamp.com/ and look at the songs "who's the boss" and "Machine"

Gah! i try to leave and i get pulled back in. The Brew [u.s.] have been touring for 7 years now, since 2003. The Brew spend barely any of thier monay on ligistics really, just take a look at their websites alone, and you can see that The Brew [u.s.] could have made thier website all on thier lonesome, not the other brew so much. All i'm trying to get across is that The Brew [uk] DOES promote somewhat with sponsors. I would've left it alone if jsiminski hadn't said what he said about uniqueness. The Brew isn't indy, they have indy music, they have regge music, they have rock music, that have ballads[yes, ballads] They have country[to an extent] they have cinematic music [i.e. music likely to be found in a movie] Their lyrics range from political satire to relationship trauma, from hapiness in life to hapiness in music, from a strange dream to a normal day. Black and White, dark and light, they cover a lot more than you think they do, i don't know were your opinion came from.

That's it Arnold. Actually The UKs Brew Tour Crew is 2 persons. So guys travel in 5 person team. And Americans are for sure investing more money in logistics and so on. The thing why The Brew (UK) has become so popular is music and only music. I don't think that US band will get anything more than local audiences - They play what everybody plays - progressive indie funky idontknowwhat. You could find hundreds of bands play the same way. The UK guys are somewhat unique.

I'm not trying to argue about the credibility or the talent of either of these bands! I really think they're both to be taken equally in the eyes of the beholder. i was just arguing how the Brew[u.k.] did have a much faster growth spurt due to it's environment than the Brew[u.s.] And i really don't even remember how this all got started, I'm not one for flame wars. And that's what a sponsor is, a musical promotion agency, it promotes the music while giving money to the band to advertise it's cause [most of the Brew[u.k.]'s sponsors are music industries anyhow, they promote from using their instruments] ANYWAYS, i don't fit in it seems. So long as nobody bashes the American Brew in excess i can leave ;D [And i just want to note than i DO enjoy listening to BOTH of these bands in my free time, and can attest to the fact that they both have amazing talent]

Well i guess what I'm saying is that they were based of in a much larger, more populous area than The U.S.A. Brew, i mean Grimsby is about 5 times larger than Amesbury. The Brew[U.S.] Were in a relatively unpopular area, while The Brew[U.K.] were given a lot more room to grow. And i go back to what i said on the sponsors, The Brew[U.S.] have been offered sponsors, but they don't want any promotion, they want to choose their own fan bases.

Yeah, no the British is definitely the far more popular "Brew", probably due to their placement. The Brew[US] formed up in a small town so they're taking a while to grow, and they refuse to submit to sponsors. The Brew[UK] began abroad, they weren't ever really local, and they have a few sponsors that they grabbed overtime, so they have a steady source of income. The Brew[US] only gets money from shows. The Brew[US] was probably more popular the Brew[UK] a while ago before the UK was getting big money like it is now from it's sponsors who skyrocketed them into popularity.
