"Embrace The Gutter" and "Fear Will Cast No Shadow" are really good albums, but... "Requiem"... I can't listen to this. For me there's only one... Sorry... Only 30 seconds from song "Narcoisis" is good. I miss songs like "Embrace The Gutter", "The Castaway", "Your Time Is Mine" or "Fear Will Cast No Shadow". But... this is only my opinion. Cheers!

I agree that their first two albums are better (especially Embrace The Gutter which is my favorite), but their newer stuff is not that bad.

Yes, I am what is wrong with this genre. If you bothered to look at the music I do listen to before throwing out accusations that I base my opinion "on the name of the genre" YOU will see that metalcore is plentiful throughout my listening tastes. My gripe with TAO is Revelations... and Embrace the Gutter were terrific thrash albums, to the point where TAO was becoming one of my favorites. I don't dislike the style they play now simply because they are more metalcore, it just dances to close to mediocrity for me. I loved Matt (vox) in Hell Within . I guess just expected more out of these guys, since they are flowing with talent.
