Sobre este álbum

More Songs about Buildings and Food é o segundo álbum da banda Talking Heads, lançado em 1978.

I've only really just noticed how Byrne's voice is more buried in the mix than in 77. Makes it more like an instrument, than the lead singer. I like that.

If only they'd have gotten rid of Take Me to the River, this album would be flawless.

This one is really one of their best and my 2nd favorite (Remain in Light 1st and Speaking in Tongues closing a very strong top 3).

Impossible to choose a "favorite Talking Heads album" when everything from "77" to "Speaking in Tongues" is so amazing. But this one would be my choice if I absolutely had to choose one to take to a desert isle. Eno coming on board as producer, the music and lyrics just brilliant, this was an exciting point in their musical journey.
