Do a lot of people not realize why they made this? They did it because the album was going to get a re-release, and tom said he'd re-record it as streetlight because that'd be better than a re-release. Something like that

Honestly, I like SLM a lot more than C22, but C22 just has a better version.

To be fair i can't listen to the catch 22 version anymore. It just sounds better on this record. And I grew up listening to Keasby Nights.

Love the clarity on the SM version, but Catch 22's Keasbey had so much more energy. I'd have to say Catch's version is the better of the two. At least SM got this out of the way, now they can actually focus on new albums.

streetlight's much better band than catch 22, well after all kalnoky was the heart of catch :), although i have to say i prefer the old version of this album, musically of course streetlight's better, but catch 22's version just came first and its history :D.

what the fuck guys SM's version is 45645656 times better, i don't even need to explain why. it only takes ears to realize this record is better.

they released it because the record company was gonna re-release the original keasby nights with a new cover, but no sound remastering. so Streetlight recorded this to prevent that release and because they wanted it so sound more refined than the Catch22 version which had terrible quality

i think it's lame that kalnoky found making this album necessary.

I hate the cover tags. You can't cover your own music, and this is all Kalnoky's music. Nobody tagged Catch 22's Supernothing as a cover (probably because of the relative obscurity of the Gimp original) or Here's to Life so why this?
