    Tales of Terror!

@Necrosathanas Yeah, it's grown on me too after my last shout. Not resembling Maiden too much anymore. And the songs are freaking good! Agreed that Arabian Nights is one of the best, as are Trust in the Fire and Masque of the Red Death! I haven't really heard any newer Stormwitch albums either yet, but judging from some separate songs on Dance With the Witches and Witchcraft albums, I'd say they are almost as good as those old ones. It seems this band has retained its quality unbelievably well!

Hahah, people noticing a lot Maiden in Tales of Terror? No wonder then why I like it fucking much.. after the debut it's my favorite one. Arabian Nights blows me away everytime. Haven't yet listened to stuff after Stronger...

Yeah, "Tales of Terror" is inferior to "Stronger Than Heaven" and "Beauty and the Beast", but it contains my favorite Stormwich song ("Masque of the Red Death"). And you are right: it's their most Maidenesque work.

Hmm, liking Tales of Terror too, although it's not as good as the debut and Stronger Than Heaven are. At least not yet as it's not that familiar to me yet. :) Killer songs, although they're a bit too much Maiden I think. The first album is almost like a collection of German proto-power metal songs mixed with nwobhm, and the third is catchier, more unique and consistent. :) Waiting for a chance to buy Beauty and the Beast next. Seems like their more poppy direction, which starts on Stronger Than Heaven, will continue there. :)

Seeing Stronger Than Heaven is my favorite so far as well, I'll now take the liberty to add The Beauty and the Beast to my "albums to buy" list. :P

@Lionheartattack, no need to be afraid. As we know, "opinions are like assholes - everybody has one and most of them stink". Yeah, their fourth album is the most 'poppy' one, but that doesn't mean bad. I rank it as my favorite Stormwitch cd alongside with "Stronger Than Heaven".

@Quacksha, okay, thanks for the info! I'm actually ordering Tales of Terror now. But I'm a bit afraid of this review of The Beauty and the Beast: :C
