Noche noruega la que nos esperaba con las 3 bandas que actuaban. Con un cambio de última hora, ya que Stonegard habían decidido separarse apenas unas semanas antes de la gira, serían Audrey Horne (proyecto paralelo del guitarrista de Enslaved, Ice Dale) los encargados de sustituirles, .

Eran las 9 de la noche cuando salieron a escena Krakow con la sala bastante vacía. En poco más de 20 minutos supieron caldear el ambiente con su stoner "pesado", recordando en algunos momento a los Mastodon más densos. Un buen concierto con un buen sonido, predominante durante toda la noche.

Tras 20 minutos de cambio de backline, (amenizados con el "Paranoid" de Black Sabbath) saltaron al escenario Audrey Horne. Hay quien pensará que no pegaban mucho en el cartel del concierto, pero uno prefiere la variedad en los conciertos a los que asiste, así te puedes llevar gratas sorpresas descubriendo grupos nuevos e interesantes. El estilo que practican es un rock/metal moderno con partes cañeras, con teclados y con algunas parte hardrockeras interesantes, en la que también tienen cabida los medios tiempos como demostraron durante su actuación. Un frontman muy simpático y comunicativo supo mantener a la gente pendiente del concierto y poniéndole muchas ganas, dieron en 30 minutos un muy buen concierto, que tuvo en el single de su último disco, 'Threshold', un final por todo lo alto.

Tras otros 30 minutos de cambio de backline (esta vez amenizados con "Lazarus Bird", el último disco de Burst), saltaban al escenario los vikingos Enslaved. Venían presentando su décimo disco de estudio titulado "Vertebrae", del cual interpretaron 5 de los 8 temas que lo componen. Comenzaron con 'Clouds', tema que abre dicho disco. Siguieron con 'Fusion Of Sense And Earth' de su anterior disco "Ruun". Fueron intercalando temas de sus últimos discos hasta llegar a uno de los mejores temas de su último disco a opinión personal, 'Ground', con un solo de guitarra que parecía sacado de los años 70, con mucho feeling. Disfrutaron de buen sonido durante toda su actuación, hasta cuando interpretaban sus temas más antiguos y con raíces más blackmetaleras, como fueron 'Eld', del disco del mismo nombre y un sorpredente 'Allfadr Odinn', incluido en su demo de 1992, y en los splits con Satyricon y Emperor. Ambos temas fueron los más aclamados por el público, fans en su mayoría de la primera época del grupo. Terminaron su set con 'The Watcher', tema que también cierra su último disco. Pero volvieron a subirse al escenario para interpretar 'Isa', de su aclamado disco con el mismo nombre, y ahora sí, dar por terminada su actuación. Un buen tema para terminar un concierto que se me hizo corto, sólo una hora y diez minutos escasos. Y te quedas con ganas de más, sobre todo después de haber visto la hoja del setlist y comprobar que se dejaron 2 temas por tocar. Uno de ellos fue 'Jotunblod' de su clásico "Frost", que formaba parte del primer bis. El otro tema fue '793 (Slaget om Lindisfarne)' de su también clásico "Eld", que era el segundo bis. De esta manera hubiera sido un concierto concierto más largo y hubieran dejado al público más satisfecho si cabe. A pesar de ese punto negativo, fue una una buena actuación, llena de energía y ganas por parte de la banda, con una puesta en escena soberbia, acompañada de una buena iluminación y una pantalla donde iban proyectando imágenes, que acompañaban perfectamente a la música y hacían que te metieras aún más en el concierto.

En resumen una buena velada con buena y variada música, con los 3 grupos poniéndole muchas ganas y que podría haber sido más larga, pero que dejó con buen sabor de boca a los que tuvieron la oportunidad de asistir. Esperemos que no tarden mucho en volver y a poder ser con un set más amplio que en esta ocasión y poder disfrutar de su amplia y variada discrografía.

I WANT THE OLD LAST.FM BACK!! PLEASE!

OK, I rarely come up with journals, but this is some major case situation.
Everything I liked about last.fm has been covered with fat greasy videos, lack of privacy (à la facebook and stuff), smaller charts, and a very backwards visual.
All in all, it just looks like some HMV/eBay/MySpace hybrid that I really didn't want.

I have been looking for groups promoting the old last.fm, and this group : http://www.last.fm/group/New+Last.fm+layout+for+the+shitter is the only relevant one I found.
So, I suggest, if you agree with this journal, you should join this group too, and if you know other, bigger or more relevant groups, please give me advices!
We have to do something about it!!!
