Yes, it was a bold/bald statement to say that Stevie was the only true genius of popular music, caught as I was in the euphoria of listening to Stevie. Johnny7gun, all the artists you've picked, I love and admire too. I think though to be a musical genius e.g. like Mozart you also have to have been a prodigious talent. Stevie had a number one hit aged 13. But I appreciate your comment, that we should get back to the music...
