Two more favorite pieces (among others): 'Sense' from Blood Machine and 'Fires Burning' from Fever Dreams 2. Very imaginative pieces and so 'out there'. Beautiful, transporting, fascinating and addictive.

The Lost Pieces is incredible, and to think it's just a collection of old unreleased tunes in storage. Mindblowing. Closer is one of the best things he's done.

Dreamtime Return is an absolute must, it's definitely one of his best releases. I also highly recommend Mystic Chords & Sacred Spaces. Structures is my personal favorite album from him, but MC & SS comes off to me as quite possibly the perfect ambient album ever produced. Some of the purest, deepest, and most blissful (I refer to "Dream Body" with that last adjective) ambient soundscapes I've ever heard. New Life Dreaming is also an incredible release.

Immersion: Four is probably my favorite installment of the series yet, and Afterlight is just as brilliant. Destination Beyond didn't quite fair as well with me as the two others did, but overall this has been a great year for Roach's music!

Trance spirits, Light Fantastic, Body Electric, Nada Terma, Arc Of Passion, Proof Positive, Fever Dreams 2, Core, Life Sequence, Destination Beyond, Empetus are rhythmic and more uptempo than his pure ambient stuff. Light Fantastic is very good album to start with in my opinion.

Destination Beyond is another splendid and deep release from the master, a nice combination of his sequencer stuff and warm mysterious spacious atmospherics.

Dream Body, Dream Body, Dream Body... what a piece. Heavenly. It blows my mind everytime. That mankind could ever come up with such beautiful music. I have no doubt that all the great musical geniuses that ever lived would have loved it sooner or later.
