This does all sorts of gleeful things to me. It starts, it goes again, it goes again, it goes again, and it stops.

This song on endless loop: what life *should* be.

godlikePaul - the lyrics are: "C'est le plus beau/et c'est le plus triste/c'est le plus beau/paysage de monde", which seems to be a quotation from the last page of Le Petit Prince - "Ça c’est, pour moi, le plus beau et le plus triste paysage du monde." - "It is, for me, the most beautiful and the saddest country in the world".

They did this as their encore the last time I saw them live... the crowd went absolutely wild. Very memorable. On an unrelated note: I still have the setlist (with John Cage Bubblegum written at the bottom) which was taped to one of the keyboards. :o)

The first time I read the lyrics to this (and translated, of course, not knowing french as I don't), I thought, she couldn't be talking about In A Landscape.. .. ..could she? I do believe that she is, in fact, singing about what I believed her to be singing about, therefore leading to my unnatural fixation upon Laetitia Sadier.
