oh and i forgot: the ultimate irony of the song (which somehow makes it even better) is that it says 'you don't know what it's like, to be me', any yet EVERYBODY knows what it's like to feel the things that simple plan mention in their song, they're basic human troubles. I sometimes wonder if that song was written ironically, but knowing simple plan i doubt it :D still love it though.

i have a soft spot for simple plan for writing my favourite bad song ever :D welcome to my life is something that i can listen to and it makes me laugh so much cause it just epitomises ludicrous teenage angst about nothing remotely important, but at the same time everybody has a 'welcome to my life' day when they feel unnecessarily sorry for themselves and just want to slam a door, put on some loud music and have a massive tantrum; anybody who doesn't has either achieved spiritual enlightenment or is lying. for this reason, welcome to my life is a great song, the anthem of the kind of self-pity that even you ought to be able to laugh at yourself for :p
