My parents used to sing me Scarborough Fair as a lullaby when I was little. We played it at my Dad's funeral. Whenever I hear it. I remember that he's still with me in my heart. Something I am ever grateful for.

That freaking Burger King commercial!!! Simon and Garfunkel is amazing, and Burger King pretty much ruined them for me. The worst part about the commercial was that it was hilarious!

I was at Art Garfunkels show last weekend in Gothenburg, and although he's getting older, and although they are even greater together, i must say that for a 20 year old in this day, it did feel really great to get to see one of the giants left from the era when musicians were truly musical and quality went before quantity. (And yes, to live in that era, as said by others before me)

about the 'sound vs. sounds' of silence, wiki had this to say: The song was originally called "The Sounds of Silence," and is titled that way on the early albums in which it appeared and on the single. In later compilations, it was retitled "The Sound of Silence." Both the singular and the plural form of the word appear in the lyrics. so i guess sound of silence?
