Seems like I need to buy some albums. I still gotta buy the last DT album, the newest Transatlantic album and their live album from 2005. Guess I'll check out Sieges Even and Subsignal, listening to some of their songs on YouTube and sounds awesome.

I agree with BurningRemnant. "Sophisticated" is IMHO their best album. It's so damn addicting and enjoyable. The songs are so complex it's silly, yet they constantly have a sense of melody that makes them flow so naturally. A true gem.

wtf... they bring out two of the best albums i've ever heard and then... they disband. i'm not familiar to the "old" stuff, but the two newest albums are beyond godlike. personally, i love the vocals on those records.

Sophisticated is some of their best albums. I know the internet community is more of the latter two's side but I think that's mainly because their better distribution. Sophisticated and of course, Sense of Change also have brilliant songs

Listening to "Sophisticated" right now. Sounds like a mixture of Watchtower and Rush with a vocalist I can actually stomach. Not bad! Would be better if some of the vocal melodies weren't so cheesy.

I just started listening to The Art of Navigating by the Stars, and this may very well be one of those bands worth absolutely obsessing over. I love how they are spread over the entire spectrum of progressive metal and rock, their versatility and their musicianship.

Try A Sense of Change. That's their most Rush album and IMO also their greatest. But I'm glad they are no copycats they just show the influences they have. They can't deny them anyway

I am listening to my first Sieges Even song, The Weight, and less than half way into it I hear the Rush influences screaming out, I can't believe that they started as a Watchtower clone. I cannot wait to hear everything else they've recorded.
