Yes people, JOJ were FAR FAR better than the dirge sound of Scarling. (bar The Band-aid covers the bullet hole, which does sound very JOJ-esque). but they are two very different bands, aiming for different styles, also, JOJ had Manson to help them, which obviously helped a lot ;) "Never be afraid to use the word cunt" haha.

To... QuothTheRav3n, bands and audiences seem to have this fixation on Creep. It seems that it's only Radiohead and specifically "proper" Radiohead fans that don't love it quite so much. I think the cover is pretty good though, it lends itself to shoegaze pretty well with how they use the chorus to emphasize their guitar noise rather than have it as just a big, straight-up melodic lift in that post-grunge way favoured by most big rock acts that never really got over Pearl Jam. Probably quite popular with those that aren't overly familiar with the band as well. If anyone actually has the Band Aid single you'd think they'd realise that H/C is a much better song. New Scarling material would really moisten me. Anyway, to anyone; about that Glastonbury thing...? (Not that Scarling are playing, I just thought I'd, y'know, get it out there, word on the street, writing on the wall, etc).

Anyone know for sure the first two lines in the bridge bit after the "It's all fucked" part? The first two lines of the eight ending with "All I could remember, I wished I wasn't me"? The lyrics I've found on the internet don't sound quite right. I wondered if they did the Deftones thing of printing slightly lyrics at specific points, like (dunno if anyone's into the Deftones here, surely the best thing to come out that genre in the 90's, such a strong 80's influence, truly transcendental, but I digress), from White Pony, "Take it home and fuck with it," written as "have fun with it" (from Street Carp), or "Give you the gun, blow me away," as " give you the lungs" (from Change). Sorry about the length, dunno what happened, I write the longest and most inane shouts on here, but it's staying now I've typed it. Speaking of which, anyone want to take me to Glastonbury and be my girlfriend? Or boyfriend, acquaintance, father, carer, arresting officer, loan shark if that can't be arranged? x
