  • 50 Questions about your Top 50 Artists

1.How did you get into no.29?

    Stevie Ray Vaughan
When I was in highschool I had a really cool teacher that gave us lyrics and stuff from diferent bands, and "The Sky is Cryin'" was one of them... A few years later, I saw that album, and started to listen to him.

    2. What's the first song you ever heard by no.22?
    Aerosmith
Probably Fly Away From Here, Crazy, or something of the sort... you know, back in 2002, at least!

    3. Whats your favorite lyric by no.33?
    Grateful Dead
Box of Rain. So sad, but great lyrics.

    4. How did you get into no.49?
    Strawberry Alarm Clock
Thanks to a friend that introduced me to them and lots of other 60s stuff.

    5. How many albums by no.13 do you own?
    Morphine
None. But I have all of them on mp3

    6. What is your favorite song by no.50?
    Radiohead
Paranoid Android, High and Dry, Electroengeneer, Just,... most of them for OK Computer and The Bends.

    7. Is there a song by no.39 that makes you sad?
    The Small Faces
They don't make me sad :p

    8. What is your favorite song by no.15?
    Alice in Chains
No Excuses, Would?, Don't Follow, Angry Chair, Got Me Wrong, Them Bones, Heaven Besides You, Dam That River, Down In A Hole, Over Now, and of course Right Turn, with Chris Cornell!

    9. What is your favorite song by no.5?
    George Harrison
So many... Beware of Darkness, Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth), All Things Must Pass, Old Brown Shoe, Any Road, My Sweet Lord, Brainwashed (heck, the entire album!) - actually, most of the songs on Brainwashed and All Things Must Pass.

    10. Is there a song by no.6 that makes you happy?
    Cream
I Feel Free, Strange Brew, Swlabr, N.S.U., Politician. Badge can make me happy or a little sad.

    11. What is the worst song by no.40?
    B.B. King
Hold on, worst? No one!! C'mon!!

    12. What is your favorite song by no.10?
    Pearl Jam
First off, I have to say these guys make great covers, for example Love Reign O'er Me. They sound great! About their songs, I love Black, Daughter, Alive, Garden, Dissident, Release, I Am Mine, Thumbing My Way, and many more!

    13. What is a good memory you have involving no.30?
    Jon Cleary
None... But well, I was watching House MD and this song came up and I thought it sounded great - turns out it was Got to be More Careful. Great song, great artist.

    14. What is your favorite song by no.38?
    Primus
Tommy the Cat!!!, My Name is Mud, The Return of Saithington Willoughby, Those Damned Blue-Collar Tweekers, Golden Boy, Southbound Pachyderm. They too have great covers, such as The Family And The Fishing Net, Have a Cigar, Amos Moses, and The Thing That Should Not Be.

    15. Is there a song by no.19 that makes you happy?
    Jefferson Airplane
Volunteers!!!! also Somebody To Love, Ice Cream Phoenix, Tobacco Road...

    16. Is there a song by no.25 that makes you sad?
    Ian Anderson
Mmhhh... not particulary, they actually relax me. Pigeon Flying Over Berlin Zoo is a little bittersweet.

    17. What is the first song you ever heard by 23?
    Savoy Brown
Tell Mama. The first song on the first record I've heard (Street Corner Talking, great album)

    18. What's your favorite lyric by no.11?
    The Pretty Things
I find the lyrics of this band to be quite funny, like LSD, Midnight To Six Man or She Was Tall, She Was High. Ripoff Train has interesting lyrics. I See You is very psichodelic, but I dig the poetry.

    19. Who is a favorite member of no.1?
    The Who
THE WHO! Are you KIDDING ME??? I love 'em all so much!!!! I'd say Pete Townshend 'cause he wrote most of the songs. John Entwistle is an idol to me, I'd love to play bass like he did. Plus, he wrote a few songs. Keith Moon was fucking crazy, and amazing as well. And Roger Daltrey has a great voice, stage presence and style. Oh, gotta love Pete live, also. Like I said, I love 'em all.
Yesterday I was watching "The kids are alright" DVD for the second time, and I thought... "If I had met them, I would probably get along better with John, because he's so calmed and cold :P" I love to see the other 3 trashing the stage and the instruments, and John holding on to his bass and giving the rest a bad look - or just keep playing while the rest are completly wild. Such a great band...

    20. Is there a song by no.14 that makes you happy?
    Aretha Franklin
She makes me so happy!! The House That Jack Built, Chain Of Fools, Nicky Hoeky, Think, See-Saw, Grooving, Since You've Been Gone, Rock Steady... so many!

    21. What is a good memory involving no.27?
    The Artwoods
As a matter of fact, I do! Taking the album from my friend, and returning it to him several month later. No, wait... I have a better one! Playing their version of These Boots Are Made For Walking with my friends. And jamming a bit to "I Feel Good". Dancing around with a friend while singing Keep Lookin' (quite fun, actually). Oh, and playing poker while listening to them :D

    22. What is your favorite song by no.16?
    Steve Vai
All his ballads (Tender Surrender, Boston Rain Melody, For The Love Of God, Hand On Heart, Touching Tongues, Windows To The Soul, Wispering A Prayer, Dead Heads, Dyin' Day, Warm Regards...). On the other hand, I love his rockin' stuff like The Cryin' Machine, Firewall, Blowfish, Bad Horsie, Answers, The Audience is Listening, The Blood And Tears, Massacre, Butler's Bag, and many more!

    23. What is the first song you ever heard by no.47?
    Peter Green
I think it was In The Skies. I absolutly love that song.

    24. What is your favorite album by no.18?
    Les Fleur De Lys
    LOL, easy one! Reflections!

    25. What is your favorite song by no.21?
    Deep Purple
First off, I'm so sick of Smoke On Water, though I used to love that song. Ok, so I love Hush, Child in Time, Black Night (although they totally stole the riff from The Blues Magoos' "We Ain't Got Nothing Yet"!!), Sail Away, No One Came, Woman From Tokyo, Maybe I'm a Leo, Money Don't Mean A Thing, Rat Bat Blue and a bunch more. I really like the old stuff, too!

    26. What is the first song you ever heard by no.26?
    The Untamed
Once Upon A Time! And I was like... WTF, that's one weird nasal voice... Then I listened to the rest of the album, and turns out they rock! BTW, I listen to the 60s mod band, not that rockabilly one...

    27. What is your favorite album by no.3?
    Jethro Tull
Aqualung, Heavy Horses, Songs From The Wood, Living In The Past... But I love many many songs from them... I can't really define by albums. I love Bursting Out because there are so many great songs there, and it was the first one I listened to...

    28. What is you favorite song by no.2?
    The Beatles
WTF, I love like 95% of the songs, haha. My favorite one is probably For No One. If you want the rest of the list, just check out in my colection the loved tracks... because there are SO many.

    29. What was the first song you ever heard by no.32?
    Alvin Lee
Chemicals, Chemistry, Mystery & More; because is the first song on Let it Rock, the first album I heard.

    30. What is you favorite song by no.8?
    Led Zeppelin
Ok, again: SO many! Oh, and of course, Stairway to Heaven!

    31. How many times have you seen no.17 live?
    The Move
None. I was born in the wrong decade, huh?
I saw other bands: Aerosmith, Chris Cornell, and some other bands that played the same day I saw them.

    32. Is there a song by no.44 that makes you happy?
    The Attack
Anymore Than I Do, We Don't Know, Lady Orange Peel Colour of My Mind, Feel Like Flying, Strange House... GREAT bass lines, too!

    33. How did you get into no.12?
    Creedence Clearwater Revival
My parents used to have some casettes and a couple of cds. Great band!

    34. What is the worst song by no.45?
    Faith No More
Ah, FNM has some great and crappy tunes. Some of the worst, IMO, are Malpractice, Cuckoo for Caca. You know, noisy-screamy-nonsense.

    35. What was the first song you ever heard by no.34?
    John Lennon
Hard to say, it's been so long! I think it could be Imagine...

    36. What was the first song you ever heard by no.48?
    Roy Orbison
I know this one! LOL. Oh, Pretty Woman. And I was like 5

    37. How many times have you seen no.42 live?
    The Zombies
Again, none. I was born several decades too late.

    38. What is you favorite song by no.36?
    David Gilmour
Besides his songs in Pink Floyd, I love On An Islad, This Heaven, The Blue...

    39. What was the first song you ever heard by no.28?
    Janis Joplin
I bet it was Cry Baby or Mercedez Benz, the more "popular".

    40. What is you favorite album by no.7?
    Soundgarden
Superunknown, Badmottorfinger, Down The Upside, Louder Than Love, Screaming Life/Fopp, Ultramega OK. In that order!

    41. Is there a song by no.31 that makes you happy?
    Incubus
Summer Romance (Anti-Gravity Love Song), Diamonds and Coal, Echo, Battlestar Scralatchtica, Azwethinkweiz, Hilikus...

    42. What is your favorite album by no.41?
    Eric Clapton
The Unplugged! I also have to say that I love the album with BB King (Riding With The King).

    43. What is your favorite song by no.24?
    Amy Winehouse
Rehab, Amy Amy Amy / Outro, You Sent Me Flying / Cherry, Moody's Mood For Love / Teo Licks, Tears Dry on Their Own, Valerie, He Can Only Hold Her, Tears Dry on Their Own.

    44. What is a good memory you have involving no.46?
    The Action
Nothing in particular. Just listening to them!

    45. What is your favorite song by no.35?
    Jimi Hendrix
Little Wing!! Red House, Changes, Voodoo Child, Castles Made of Sand, Crosstown Traffic, Dolly Dagger, Are You Experienced, Purple Haze....

    46. Is there a song by no.9 that makes you happy?
    Norah Jones
Be My Somebody!!! Sunrise... Nightingale... Feeling the Same Way... most of them aren't that "happy".

    47. What is your favorite album by no.4?
    Pink Floyd
Animals, Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Obscured By Clouds, Meddle... The Syd albums are insane, but have some great songs!

    Etta James
    Etta James? LOL

    49. What is the first song you ever heard by no.43?
