Robert Anthony Plant (nascido em 20 de Agosto de 1948 em Inglaterra) é um cantor de rock britânico.Foi vocalista de uma das mais famosas e importantes bandas de rock, os Led Zeppelin. É conhecido pelo seu estilo poderoso com uma grande extensão de voz que incorpora a paixão do blues e do folk no seu melhor. Após o desmembramento da banda devido à morte do seu baterista John Bonham, Robert Plant prossegue uma carreira-solo.

Em 2002, com sua mais nova banda Strange Sensation, Plant lançou uma coleção selvagem aclamada uma coleção feita de em sua maioria remakes de blues e folk, chamada Dreamland. Em constraste com essa coleção que com frequência é relacionada com remakes mais obscuros, o segundo album com o Strange Sensation, Mighty ReArranger (2005), contém musicas novas e originais. Ambos receberam algumas das mais favoráveis revisões da crítica da carreira solo de Plant e também recebeu quatro nominações para o Grammy, duas em 2003 e duas em 2006.
Um DVD chamado Soundstage: Robert Plant e o Strange Sensation, apresentando sua Soundstage performance (filmado no Soundstage Studios em Chigago no dia 16 de setembro de 2005) foi lançado em outubro de 2006.

Anybody know if they'll do anything in the future? Liked Raising Sand and looking forward to the follow-up but would really love to see Robert do a new album and tour with the Strange Sensation.

Doesn't matter if it's with Alison Krauss or the Strange Sensation or his old Zeppelin classics, whatever Robert touches these days seems to turn to gold. This album is great!

I saw them last night in Istanbul.It was absolutely amazing. Robert Plant(aka GOD) can sing&scream like the old days. They blew us away. They played several Zeppelin classics among the Sensation stuff: Babe I'm Gonna Leave You,Black Dog,Gallows Pole,Goin' To California and Whola Lotta Love.
