Wed 18 Nov – Rise Against, Thursday, Poison the Well

Okay, so I think you've probably gathered if you've read any of my "reviews" before, I don't watch support bands unless I like them, so I missed Poison the Well and Thursday.

Rise Against, as always, put on a fucking amazing show. There was maybe a little bit too much from Appeal To Reason played, but yeah, was okay because... they played motherfucking Paper Wings man!! This made me very happy. Unfortunately the experience was tainted by knobheads in the crowd, but I think that's going to happen at every gig I go to nowadays; getting increasingly impatient with it all, so yeah. Was good because it was the only gig in recent memory where there were a fair few of us there. We all separated when Rise Against came on, but still :p. Yeah, they played fantastically and everyone I've spoken to who was in attendance had a fucking crackin' time, so win!

2. How did you get into #20 (Linkin Park)?
- Umm. I remember I had heard some of their songs before, but I actually didn't know anything about Linkin Park or that they were theirs. In 2005 I saw them performing Breaking the Habit in Live 8 concert (yeah on TV of course) and I was like "hey this sounds familiar !". I fell in love, and when I started listening to more of their songs, I realized I had heard many of them before. :3

- Umm this is hard. At least for 10 years. I had heard Youth of the Nation many many years ago, but I started listening to them for couple of years ago.

- Couple years ago.

- Ah Simple Plan :DDDDDD It was the first real pop punk band I ever found (and I found them by accident !) in summer of 2005. So, for 4 and ½ years. Still love their music. :)
