On an Island is long-awaited album from Pink Floyd's guitarist, and even after several years from last release, it seems that he still has enought energy to create another interesting album.
It's not a new Pink Floyd album (although Richard Wright appears as a guest), but I think nobody should be dissapointed. Very melodic calm and atmospheric album with nice guitar solos, overall something between progressive rock and blues I think... And Zbigniew Preisner did subtle orchiestrations for this album. My personal favourite track is
On an Island (but necessarily with preceding Castellorizon - for this special "an island on the ocean" mood ;).
The second album is NAP, first solo album from one of the best polish guitarists. And yes, it's probably true that a lot of people actually have heard him…
