Ruckus Collective
The band really took off in 2008, playing over 30 gigs (actually only up til August/September), visiting a few different cities and recording a full-length studio album, Stop, Drop, Dance!, during a crazy period after uni exams in June. Earlier in the year we also self-produced a five-track EP, Rise Of The Ruckusaurus. Apart from that I played the odd function gig here and there around Bristol, and plenty of jams - always good fun.

Broadcasting
While I was in Bristol, I had a weekly show on BURST Radio called Off The Hook. It was a really cool experience and I played a lot of different tunes, as well as being joined by several guests from the local music scene. I won't go into detail here, as this is already too long, but you can see the myspace page for info and playlists. [Some of my friends have taken it over this year, as I'm not attending uni at the moment, so tune in!]
Many thanks to anyone who's had a look at this post - all the best wishes for Christmas and the New Year!
peace,
frederick -

Jim Beard and the new Walter Becker album!
Abr 1 2008, 13h20 por GinaMizar5

Monday, March 31
We've just wrapped up an international conference call with Siggy and Neb from the esteemed Radio Dupree in Sweden. It was a very important meeting. There is some news about Walter Becker's new album, courtesy of mr. Jim Beard. We're alas a little too tired right now to work with what was handed to us so graciously, so we figured it would be ultimately appropriate to make it an April Fools' Day article. So, for now, Jim's the word and see ya'll tomorrow!
We did post a little ditty over on a Steely Dan fan guestbook The Blue earlier as an appetizer:
Jim Beard: "The CD sounds very nice. Warm and fat. Great tunes and grooves. Nothing like 11TofW. Walter sounds great on it. I think the fans will be happy."

Muzyczna receptura

Słucham właśnie Richarda Bony i jego "Dina Lam".
Przepiękny utwór. Magiczny. Słuchając go można przenieść się do innego świata. A przecież jest niezwykle skromny. Bas, śpiew i bębny w tle.
>harmonia- dzięki zrozumieniu i opanowaniu harmonii w muzyce można tworzyć najpiękniejsze obrazy malowane dźwiękiem
>emocje- czy muzyka miałaby sens bez zawartych w niej emocji?
A co według Was jest jeszcze ważne w muzyce? Co Was osobiście porusza? Richard BonaDina Lam
