Biografia

Remi Nicole (born April 6, 1983) is an English singer-songwriter who was born and lives in North London. She has lived in Holloway, Islington, Highgate, Tufnell Park and Highbury. [1] She is best known for her single Go Mr. Sunshine in 2007. Her debut album My Conscience & I was released later that year.

Nicole signed her first record deal in late 2006 with Island Records, and released her first single Fed Up in May 2007. Her style is described as Indie and Acoustic and has gained some airtime on Radio 1.

Nicole’s second single, Go Mr. Sunshine, was released for download on August 13th 2007, and was officially released on the August 20th. It reached number 57 in the UK singles chart, but many believe it would have been a bigger hit if the weather was better during that summer (2007 was one of the wettest summers on record in the UK).

Her third single Rock’n’Roll was released digitally on November 5th, with the CD release on November 26th.

Nicole’s debut album My Conscience & I was released on December 3rd 2007.

Also in December, her cover of the song Teenage Kicks featured in the film St Trinian’s and on its soundtrack.

The 4th single from My Conscience and I was the ballad Light’s out in March 2008.
