Yup, Blondie's in there. But the two are sooo different. Making that connection is like catching a home run ball out in the parking lot. I so loved Blondie's work. Ahh, the days when MTV was young and actually played music. I also loved Debby Harry's trademark spaced out expression. See the similarities? (<----).

80s New Age at its finest...definitely a seminal track for its era. This song made Ray Lynch's career although the album does not stand the test of time very well unlike some Yanni, Tangerine Dream, etc. from that same period of sound.

I figured more people would be noticing the Blondie similarity, but so far only one other person has mentioned it.

This is the bubbly tune that really brought Ray Lynch into the public eye. It may not be his greatest work, but that light bouncy accompaniment and cheerful electric harp melody are wonderful ear catchers wherever this song is played. This will always be a defined classic. @jes2cool ~ Mid 90's? Try the mid 80's there kiddo.

I first heard Celestial Soda Pop on a mix tape that was being passed around my college dorm in 1988 or 1989. I didn't know what genre it was; I just knew I liked it. I have since purchased the serveral Ray Lynch CDs and I downloaded No Blue Thing from iTunes.

You are what made me get into New Age music...You are an inspiration to me when I am making my own music. Always love your style and your choice of instruments and it always sounds great when it's all put together. I am one of your biggest fans and followers. Love the music and I hope you never stop making music. Your friend, Tim
