Ao relembrar um antigo trabalho que uma amiga me apresentou , vim a refletir sobre o assunto.
Como nosso gosto musical , digo no geral , foi cair tanto nos utimos anos?
É certo que muitos artistas novos surgiram para mudar radicalmente o cenário da musica nesses ultimos tempos.
É triste pensar que Gênios da musica nos deixaram para viver em outros planos , algum deles eu posso citar :
Raul Seixas , Tom Jobim , Elis Regina , Vinicius de Moraes , Cartola , Noel Rosa , Cassia Eller , Cazuza e muitos outros compositores da musica brasileira que nao devo descartar.
E Falando agora de atuantes recentes eu devo descartar MUITOS , pelo simples fato de fazerem deboche da musica , generalizando radicalmente aqueles que nao acrescentam em nada a cultura atual. Nao estou desmerecendo nenhum gosto musical , mesmo porque o meu não é la o dos mais apurados.
Também ouço Bonde do Role , CSS e até mesmo cultura pop norte americana , por que nao?!?
deixo aqui somente a minha desaprovaçao por total martirio contra a atual cultura enlatada.

Finalmente, saiu mais um petardo musical da minha banda, a Beckandroll.

Acanção se chama Minha morte, foi gravada no dia 02/06 no estúdio Hurricane e mixada no dia 09/06 no mesmo estúdio.

Ontem o Felipe comentou comigo que algum amigo dele achou a m´suica parecida com Canto para minha morte, do Raul Seixas em parceria com o Paulo Coelho.

Eu concordo em parte. Obviamente, a melodia é totalmente diferente, mas acredito que a pessoa se referia a letra.

A temática é semelhante, embora sob óticas muito diferentes, antagônicas até mesmo eu diria.

Enquanto a música do Raul tem um viés mais metafísico, transcendental e o caralho a quatro, a minha é totalmente niilista, irônica, fica só se questionando se a minha morte vai render uma manchete popular ou algo do gênero.

Lembro que escrevi essa letra há uns dois anos atrás, num momento de depressão, que eu queria morrer, mas faltava a coragem do suicida, coragem que realmente nunca vou ter.

Então ficava pensando: puxa, por que não me jogam nos trilhos do trem, por que não morro de bala perdida, essas merdas todas que pensa quem está deprimido.

Passada a depressão, rendeu uma boa canção.
