Howdy,

after several celebrations and reminders that certain holidays are on the way... it's time to look back at last week in music. ^^
To give you a picture there should be... a picture:


Most played artists:

> John Mayer : Besides the new tracks from his album "Battle Studies" I also re-discovered "The Village Sessions" which is an EP with mellow acoustic versions of some of his best songs.

> Kylie Minogue : Some songs of her new live album "Kylie Live In New York" are fantastic. And I really like the studio version of the Steve Anderson Mix of "Speakerphone". Next to "Boombox/Can't Get Blue Monday Out Of My Head" this is on my favorite Kylie tracks these days.

> Port O'Brien : Last week I was listening to their "Threadbare" album a couple of times. There are some wonderful tunes among those songs. But it's still kind of hard to tell for me which tracks are most outstanding.

> Traveling Wilburys : Do you still remember them? Yep, this group of talents has become a steady evergreen on my playlist - in fact their music seems very timeless to me. Last week I used their tunes as background music for playing card games because of that feature.

> ¡Happy Birthday Guadalupe! by The Killers : even though it might sound a bit odd because of the southern style it's a kind of contrast to the classic Christmas themed songs which are played on the radio and so on these days.

> I'm on Fire by John Mayer : Still one of the best calm tracks I can imagine at the moment. That is why I like listening to it.

> Dangerous by Deep Insight : I guess that is one of the best things I got to know while watching the last MTV Europe Music Awards. This song is incredibly catchy :-)

So... now you've seen that I'm currently not really in Christmasy mood (except that exotic Killers song which could probably seen as protest ^^ ). And apart from that there has been little news since last week. But I predict changes... :-P
