the first time i listened to slanted & enchanted my reaction was exactly the same: "what's all the fuss about?". but i didn't give it up and this album grew to become one of my favorites. others are really good too, but not on the same scale as s&e

Nah, SeaHan, dude, Nirvana is awesome. And I believe that 7/10 score was given to a completely unnecessary "greatest hits" set that nobody bought anyway, so the score was completely warranted. Not to be "the guy who sticks up for Pitchfork" or anything, but they get it right pretty often. Oh yeah, and Pavement ARE that good, you fucking snob.
