Grandmother 'Esther 'Kitty' Casteel ( Author, Composer and WRM Record Label Owner from the 1940's to the late 80's, and pioneer of C&W retro, Blues and Rockabilly songs) has passed away in Dec. of 2006, at a Bakersfield, Ca., hospital. I am so glad i discoverd Patty Griffin. I heard Kelly Clarkson perform this song on A.Idol and it floored me. When i heard Patty sing it, i cried like a baby. SOO much passion and emotion in her voice. Absolutly LOVE it. I'll be checking out more from her for sure.

For me, Impossible Dream is a masterpiece. Would a gracious Patty fan share "Moon Song" with me? I bought my CRT copy from Barnes & Noble for their bonus tracks, and the whole Album Only crap on iTunes really irks me. I have a live version of it, but I've been dying to hear the recorded one.
