i can't understand how people that don't enjoy an album at its first listen are able to give so many listens until they actually like it. maybe you don't listen to the albums with proper conditions, i mean, i can only truly know if i like an album if i just sit and stand still (or dance if it asks so) while listening to it, in order to focus only in the music and nothing else.

I'm incredibly impressed by this album. Animal Collective doesn't do as much for me as it does for most people, but I never saw this coming. There's a ton of replay value here, and I'm actually glad that the songs are longer and that there are only 7 tracks--it really doesn't overstay its welcome and there isn't any filler to be found. The whole atmosphere of the album is really hazy and disconnected. "Im Not" and "Bros" are my favorites.
