They played this at Progressive Nation after opening with Windowpane, it was fucking mind-blowing! After Windowpane Mikael was like "We are Opeth, we are death metal, as you can hear", was pretty fun. Then he starts the humming part of The Lotus Eater and the band just breaks into spinebreaking deathmetal, fucking awesome.

My only qualm with this song is the part right after "You are stuck in a route of confusion, Changing and waiting and seeking the truth of it all", when it just turns ambient for no reason for about 5 seconds and then goes back to heavy again. It's just so out of place. It's an otherwise great song (well, not so much the humming), but that little 5 second stint is just...stupid.
