Told John my weed connection that I wanted 1/4 lb of Columbian Gold for a free concert at Belmont Plateau in Fairmount Park. Philadelphia. When I went he didn't have my weed, instead he gave me this red gooey nasty looking crap. Took it home and couldn't keep a joint lit, was really pissed. Put some in a pipe and was amazed. Didn't sell one joint of it, but was real popular at the concert.LOL. Cost me $60.00 so you know I am and old man, still remember my buddy RED though and the group was Seatrain doing their new album "13 Questions".

Had smoked copious amounts of this back in the day. We really weren't playing our instruments too well when being blotto on "Red." But the audiences didn't seem to care, they were usually more stoned/drunk/hammered etc. than we were. Take your pick. That was always the best case scenario to hope for. It was the 70's. That scene was awesome. Gawd, brain-dead episodes of loading up the vans afterwards and forgetting half our instruments, stage props, gear etc were common after smoking Ol' Red. Someone would inevitably yell out, "Hey, you forgot half your shit again." It got to be we had to designate who was gonna be the designated driver(s) way before that term was ever coined. I think we nicknamed ours - taxi-caddies. ~Smiles~

Wow.I remember us one time.."HUH? WHAT? TOO LOUD YA THINK?" Might have had too much juice on,i recall! Circa 1976."DON'T REMEMBER A THING,A CONSTANT HAZE!" Was the consensus of that particular partake. Was the 70's, P.R. was back in town! "NO PRACTICE. GUESS WE AIN'T DOING SHIT TONIGHT,MAN!"
