Start from the beginning and go forward, I'd probably recommend. In my esteem, all four of their albums are pretty much equal in quality, so you could also just choose one at random and go that way. On a side note, today is four years on from the breakup announcement. Playing Frames Live to commemorate.

Saw them support PT back in 2008, was impressed by them but have never got around to listening to them, but want to give them a go now. What album is best to begin with? Thanks

@Garfinklestein, you listen to the bands like Depeche Mode and Erasure and you call Oceansize "babymetal wannabees"? Are you high or something? You're the most ridiculous user on Last.fm i've ever met. Sorry lady.

The info was posted in Mike Vennart's twitter account @Hhaitch. Any information, other than the involvement of Durose and Ingran hasn't been posted. I really doubt it's an Oceansize reunion; the drummer is not Heron (for obvious reasons).

Where's that info from? Who's playing bass? Some sort of full-band version of British Theatre?

Nah. It'll be a new project. Still, sounds pretty exciting if you ask me. It's always good to hear from these guys every now and then.

So Mike Vannart has paired up with drummer Dean Pearson, and together with Durose and Gambler they'll pull out a new full album. I for one am excited.

In EIP, Superfluous to Requirements should totally have gone in between New Pin and No Tomorrow, and they should have left Heaven Alive on the EP.
