If you know of any bands that have few listeners, Then by all means, Please leave a recommendation . Either here , my shoutbox , or PM me .
I will post them as soon as I have time to .
It is not my intent to post well established bands .
They have all the help that they need without my unprofessional and miniscule efforts . Besides I am a two finger typist. Do you have any Idea how long it takes me to type these small paragraphs ? It`s embarrasing .
First I want to make it clear . I do not discriminate music .Any genre is welcome here. Just because a band plays music from a genre, I might not listen to, Does not mean that I won't post them.
I do plan on helping out any of the smaller artists that I run across by adding them to this page . I do hope it will help. …

Out 16 2009, 15h18 por muhmoodRecently have been exploring more of neofolk...
First of all need to say that i absolutely fell in love with CocoRosie after a night of watching them on youtube... but then i found out that listening to their albums is not as much thrilling as the low quality online vids! I don't know just something is missing in the recordings that is so much overwhelming in their performances. Especially was upset to see that they absolutely ruined the song Black Rainbow which is so much more powerful in a couple of versions on youtube:
Nalle - really made my pack of favorite female vocalists like CocoRosies and Joanna Newsom full - amazing that it is so critically underrated!!!
Turning to "greener breed" - amongst all the black metal and power electronics i was forcing on myself recently the next three projects i am talking about were very much like pleasant green grass patches in the…

app 1901 (Neofolk)

We wish you all a merry summer to come! Here's an overview of all the additions
from May and April:
The Eclipse Review for May was Forseti's Erde, the second full-length so far by this extraordinary group. It's full of romantic and high-quality german neofolk, with guest appearances by people like B'eirth and Kim Larsen.
This month's Eclipse is The Devil in the Grain by the English duo Twelve Thousand Days. It's a sadly unnoticed album that we'd like to give some more credit, because we
consider it to be a classic of modern and dark folk.
As was the custom these past few months, we've also presented two new interviews. Both with Finnish artists, the first was with Juha Kettunen, the man behind dark ambient project Somnivore who tells us about the inspirations for his music and the power of dreams.
In May, we conducted a live interview with Mikko Pöyhönen of Tuhat kuolemaa sekunnissa, a band that plays earthy and straightforward folk. …

"Novemthree is the project of Pythagumus Marshall from the state of Washington in the US. He plays, by himself, very relaxing modern folk, with mixed influences of nature and personal experiences."
"personal feelings are often a rich well to draw from, and they help make this EP a very nice release. The musical variation in Novemthree's brand of foresty folk also helps a lot. But then there is also the wonderful sleeve this 3" comes in. High quality thick green carton, nice prints, and sewn together to top it off perfectly. It's designs like this that make the DIY aspect of this scene so appealing."
