Took some time, but really grew on me until the point I found myself addicted. Actually the turn to a more melodic approach was a really good thing, and on Meridional they found the perfect balance.

I have often stared at it for a few minutes at a time but I can still never figure out - what in the hell is on the album cover?

This album fucking goes through my soul deeply.. not just music. lyrics, emotions: regrets, joy.. Actually all their works and albums particularly are masterpieces. But here.. It feels like every chord, every note, every word is pained, is felt through..

Honestly I don't understand what is so bad about this album, the only song that is absolutely terrible is Opposite of left and wrong because of the lead singer from helmet, other than that I think it's a pretty solid 4/5 album.

I actually really like this album. It feels very sincere. Yeah, so they don't rock as hard as they used to, and yeah, their lyrics as poetic, but it's the real deal. Not their best effort, but a good one nonetheless.

Finally, I gave another listens to this album and I agree with DontSpitInDaBus : it is'nt all bad. Certainly not as chaotic as what they did before but it's cool though

this album certainly isn't as epic or chaotic as O' God The Aftermath but it isn't all bad. Vipers Snakes and Actors is still pretty hardcore. it is pretty average but not as bad as people say

"Surrender your sons" and "Discipline your daughters" are definitively the best songs of their newest ablum because they are not typical for norma jean but still great !
