AC/DC : 12 Juin 2009

Je voulais aller au stade de france à 8h du matin, mais étant fatigué de la veille, je suis arrivée à 9h15 et il y avait déjà pas mal de monde ! Ca m'a tout de même surprise !
Je me suis donc assise par terre comme tout le monde, au début j'étais seule et puis j'ai recontré des gens très sympa avec qui j'ai discuté pendant l'attente et passé le concert avec eux !
Les portes devaient ouvrir à 16h30, mais finalement elles ouvriront à 17h15... Une galère pour rentrer dans le stade.. j'ai vraiment haluciné.. ils ont un énorme staff de sécurité et ils sont incapable que ça se passe corectement...enfin bref.
Le premier rang était déjà squatté, on va donc sur les barrières contre l'allée, et on aura vraiment bien choisit nos places car Brian et Angus s'arreteront pas mal à notre endroit !
On doit encore attendre 1h30 avant de voir la première partie... ça fatigue... enfin la voilà !
Un groupe français nommé Café Bertrand, genre Noir Désir en raté... on se demande bien comment ils ont fait pour faire le Stade de France.. enfin c'est pas trop mal mais on comprend rien de ce que le chanteur chante... pas top!
Ensuite on attend encore un peu pour voir le second groupe, qui sera The Answer, des australiens, une copie presque conforme de AC/DC, en certes moins bien, mais pas trop mal quand même !
Après on attend AC/DC, on a jamais était aussi proche, on y croit pas, on va voir AC/DC ! Unbelievable !
Ensuite d'un coup l'écran central s'allume avec un petit film made by AC/DC, pour introduire l'entrée sur scène du groupe et le premier morceau.
Après un peu de feu, ils montent sur scène, PUTIN AC/DC quoi ! WAHOUUUUU !! AC/DC !! AC/DC, j'y crois pas !!

C'est peut-être fini, mais de dieu putin qu'est-ce que c'était bon !! WAHOU !! AC/DC !! Je ne réalise pas du tout que je viens de voir AC/DC en live!
Un peu de mal à marcher... mais bon, c'était vraiment bon, j'y crois toujours pas, Brian et Angus à deux mètres de moi.. pfff incroyable !!



AC/DC : 12th June 2009

I want to go at the Stade de France at 8 o'clock, but i was too tired of yesterday so i woke up at eight, and at 9:15 i was at the stade de france and there was too many people ! About 20 or 30 persons !
So i sat on the floor, at the start i was alone, but after i discussed with very kind people !
We waited until 16:30 pm to the doors open, but finally doors open at 17:15 ... It wasn't very good to enter in the stade... so we were not in the first in front of the stage... but we were well situated !
We have to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes again... the Stade de France is very very very big, very impressive !
The first group who played was Café Bertrand, a french band, like Noir Désir but it was not as well as Noir Désir !
Then, The Answer go on stage, a australian band, like AC/DC for the origin and the music ! It was good, but i'm not fan !
After, we can't wait more, i'm very excited at the idea to see AC/DC in few minutes !!
And d'un coup, on the screen, it was a movie, with angus in evil ! the AC/DC train... i'm very very very very very excited at this moment !!
After some fire, they go on stage ! AC/DC on stage, in front of me !! AC/DC !! AC/DC !! No i don't believe that !! Oh my Godness, AC/DC !!

Finally! Almost three years after my previous journal entry, I'm back to ripping my CD collection! This past week-end, I processed 45 CDs, and I fully intend to dedicate my whole free time in the next two weeks ripping them all.

So, welcome to AC/DC, Enigma, Fredericks - Goldman - Jones, Hajime Mizoguchi, Iron Maiden, Jay-Jay Johanson, Korn, Los Calchakis, Lou Reed, Philippe Vachey, Rage Against the Machine, The Prodigy, and Yann Tiersen! Adding new Noir Désir and Vangelis albums feels good, too!

My setup is as follows:

• I rip the discs using Exact Audio Copy. Its Accurate Rip feature ensures my rips are correct.
• Encoding is performed on the fly using aoTuV, an improved Vorbis encoder. Maybe my ears are getting old, by now I have a somewhat hard time telling a quality 2 encoding (about 96 kbps) from the original waves. I decided to encode at quality 3.
• Tagging and Replay Gain scanning is done using foobar2000, which is also my audio player of choice.
• Checksumming is done using MD5summer, to ensure the files are not corrupted as they are copied and stored on various devices. I save one CHECKSUMS.md5 file per album.

Anyway, back to work, and back to music!

There are a few artists I want to hear a lot of right now, but I'd also like to find some new music and possibly rediscover some music I haven't heard in a while. This list looked good, so I'm going to work on hearing these songs. I've listened to some of these on Last.fm or my Winamp already, and I know I like many of these artists, so I might like the songs and artists I don't already know. I'll just have to try to find them on Imeem or Youtube, then add the ones I like on Last.fm.
Update(2/4/09): I have listened to all the songs, except a few that I had already scrobbled and I few I remembered well enough to know I don't like them. If Last.fm is right about when I scrobbled the first song, I have been doing this for nine hours. I guess I just got caught up in doing it, and at a certain point I had gone to far to stop. Now, if you're looking for a detailed critique of each song, you will be disappointed. I'm not good at that. I've split them into four groups: songs I already liked, songs I already dislike, songs I liked, and songs I didn't like. The first two are for songs with which I was already very familiar. There are some songs that I had heard before but did not put in one of the first two groups because I couldn't really remember them well enough and I felt I needed to listen to them again to decide whether or not I liked them. I also commented on each song. Some comments are just one or two words. Not even particularly descriptive words. It's 2:29 AM. I'm glad I did it, but I am so glad to be done with it.

I mostly don't like the Rolling Stones, but this is one of the two songs of theirs that I do like. I also like Melanie's version.

Hey, I remember this one! Not bad.

I love this song.

Wild Thing : The Troggs (Score = 26.09)
I like it, I know it, I've just never had it on a cd. There are a lot of songs that I listed to on the oldies station in middle school or on records that I just haven't managed to get in my library here yet.

Life Goes By : The Special Goodness (Score = 25.46)
This is the third or fourth song on this list from Punk-O-Rama 9, which I already have, but the first I recognized when I started playing it. I need to get my Punk-O-Rama cds on my computer.
