my favourite 45 single of all time, powerful, postive and uplifting, this is a great life defining song with lyrics than all of us can understand and empathise with. The song is recorded as live, though the several live versions available (particularly the 16 minute plus version recorded in Europe) add to this great song. I was devastated when Nina passed away but we have her songs, an enduring legacy!
Primary school, sat on floor cross-legged, singing, 30 children, just hoping to survive the day & have the same people who dumped us there, also collect us at the end of the day. Years of Therapy can make us appreciate these lyrics after the horror of surviving the 60's or 70's. (The whole being grateful thing, meant something different then)
