I am a bit torn to the moustache. It was ugly (not a bit fan of facial hair) and made him look like a creepy serial killer.. but.. I mean.. It's Nick Cave.. that, if anything, is a suiting look for him.

No More Shall We Part is my favorite Nick Cave album, but I don't think it's the best starter because a lot of it isn't as accessible as some of his other stuff - it took me awhile to appreciate how good the whole album really is. The Good Son is the best starter album IMO.

Depends on your personal taste. A lot of people dislike many of Nick Caves songs when they first hear him, since he has a certain style. I'd suggest you find a song you really like, listen to it, listen to the album and then hopefully all the pieces will fall together. My first album was Murder Ballads, which was very easy for me to get into, since I kinda like morbid ballads a lot. ;) Now, I'd say No More Shall We Part is my favorite. Try that one. The Sorrowful Wife is amazing.
