Pop Punk is not dead.

I can tell everyone I know that its alive and kicking. After watching New Found Glory on October 22nd 2009, it showed me that not only are they as a band still going strong but it gave me hope that the genre is going to be okay. Lately i have been waiting for some good new music to come about. With the disappointment of Fall Out Boy's last 3 albums and Mayday Parade's Jason Lancaster leaving, i felt like the genre might be on its way out as well. "Without a Fight" is my favorite Album of 2009, based on how strong New Found Glory came back with all they had to create a super album. With the emergence of new bands like Four Year Strong, Hit The Lights and Honor Bright, this genre might even become more and more popular, inspiring bands like my own to try to appeal to everyone and not just those long hair moshers we see so often at show.
