O show do New Found Glory no Salão Social do Palestra Itália neste último sábado (15) agradou até aqueles que conheciam pouco da banda. Formada por Jordan Pundik (vocais), Chad Gilbert (guitarra), Steve Klein (guitarra), Ian Grushka (baixo) e Cyrus Bolooki (bateria), a banda mostrou no palco principal do ABC Pro HC que aprendeu como conduzir um show nesses 11 anos de carreira. Com carisma de sobra e proximidade dos fãs, o NFG criou uma atmosfera intimista com o público presente que respondeu com muito entusiasmo ao show do grupo. Na metade de sua passagem pelo Brasil, o quinteto da Florida já promete voltar ao país com a turnê do próximo álbum, que deve ser lançado em 2009.

O NFG subiu ao palco por volta das 23h, começando com a agitada “Understatement” e logo emendando “Truth Of My Mouth” e “Better Off Dead”, que fez o público pular e cantar junto dando a tônica que se manteve pelo resto do show. Antes do hit “All Downhill From Here”, o guitarrista Chad Gilbert se desculpou com os fãs pelo demora em vir ao Brasil. “Vocês podem nos mostrar o dedo do meio por isso”, brincou o músico.
