saw greendale tour back in 03! lots of fans were pissed that he was playing an unreleased, new album at length, but I had to appreciate the gesture; neil used to this with every other album back in the 70s! imagine you go to see "Harvest'-era neil only to have him debut a bunch of songs from "On the Beach".... granted, "Greendale" is no "On the Beach", but NO ONE does this kind of thing anymore. Neil is not some nostalgia act, no matter how old he gets, or us. In concusion, the fans were dumb whiners. I mean, he even closed the set with some hits so shut up..... who am I talking to?
