MotorpsychoUnglaublich viele gute Neuentdeckungen, tolle Alben und Songs, 2009 war musikalisch gesehen absolut umwerfend, weswegen ich meine Auswahl auch etas erweitern werde, um zumindest einigen musikalischen Highlights gerecht zu werden. Großer Abräumer waren ein weiteres Mal Crippled Black Phoenix, die sich mit ihrem zweiten Album noch einmal selbst übertroffen haben.

Größte musikalische Enttäuschung:
Wahrscheinlich das Album von The Mars Volta, auch wenn es im Nachhinein doch ganz in Ordnung ist... aber beim ersten Reinhören war es schon verdammt schwach. Das neue Dredg war auch eine ziemliche Enttäuschung.

Die schönsten musikalischen Momente:
- Thurston Moore, der sich beim Spielen von "100%" halb totlacht, weil seine Gitarre ausfällt und der Tonmann ihn nicht versteht. (Konzert in Düsseldorf)
- Friska Viljor auf dem Appletree, die das Mikrofon ans Publikum weitergeben und feststellen müssen, dass einige Leute anscheinend doch nicht so ganz textsicher sind ("Fuck your sister, break her knees!")
- Das Konzert von Crippled Black Phoenix war in seiner Gesamtheit sehr seltsam... mag an der blöden Location gelegen haben. Schön war es aber allemal.
- Total besoffen früh morgens mit Fahrad nach Hause zu fahren und dabei bei voller Lautstärke das neue Album von Trail of Dead zu hören... ich bin geflogen!
- Stundenlang mit Tris auf das Konzert von Nihiling im Bielefelder Audimin zu warten, dabei viel zu viel Bier zu trinken und dann mit einem absolut genialen Konzert der Band belohnt zu werden.
