Missing Persons was an American band who played a blend of New Wave music and pop rock. The band was founded in 1980 in Los Angeles by guitarist Warren Cuccurullo, vocalist Dale Bozzio, and drummer Terry Bozzio. They went on to add bassist Patrick O’Hearn and keyboardist Chuck Wild. Dale’s quirky voice and heavy makeup made the band a favorite on MTV in the early 1980s. Her revealing outfits played a pivotal role in moving the culture of music videos towards that of overt sexual exhibitionism.

I think Spring Session M is their best album. Real drums are used on their debut and Terry Bozzio is a great Drummer! And you got to love Dale's very girly, charming and quirky vocal delivery. Great band but what's up with their third album? Their third record may have been when they were starting to lose their original spark and just resort to doing mindless cheese pop.

I started liking this band after hearing "Destination Unknown". That song is absolutely cherub new wave music done right. I couldn't stop replaying the song within my mind it's so addictive. I'm probably going to plan for the "Spring Sessions M" on my wishlist for my birthday.
