Best album by a mile. The apex of Barker and Jourgensen's partnership.

I think that this albums reflects Als heroin addiction best. Back then he was serious junkie. Game Show, The Fall and Filth Pig are my favourites, when I listen to them I can feel misery of addict.

I enjoy this far more than Psalm 69, much more of a coherent album.

I don't understand why isn't this universally regarded as a classic? I find many Godflesh influences here, something I did not detect before. Psalm 69 is thrashy, but this is sludgy and doomish. Interesting. ANd the songs are very inspired

i've always loved this album (it was the first ministry album i ever bought) and never understood why so many people hated it at the time. nice to see it's getting some appreciation.

I only just started to appreciate how good this album is. I mean my favourite will always be The Title Is An Awkward Thing To Say but there are song cracking tunes on this one too.

First, I listen to this on an old re-recorded MC without a last track. I found a cassette in my uncles' closet who was a DJ. This was one of my first, true, primal experience that change my music course of life. When this was happen I have about 17 years old and I even do not known what I have listening. Cassette do not have description... ;) I finally knew a band name when a girl, I actually interested in, make me available she music collection :D Now I have my own copy of a "Filth Pig" CD and I adore this same as years ago. Only the CD's frequencies are not good as MC's for such a filthy sounds as "Filth Pig" consist. I still missing my old, rusty and use up cassette... Heavy, claustrophobic atmosphere, harsh, rusted sound and that Industrial madness floating upon slow riffs... ehhh, memories ;P
