And hey, Recover is touring again, so maybe another past favorite band of mine will tour again too? I never got to see Midtown live, they always played in support of headliners I didn't want to see. Oops.

Do people really like Cobra Starship but not know about Midtown? That's so strange to me. I must be really old. Also, Forget What You Know is really good and probably my favorite of their albums. I feel like it gets no love.

Gabriel said that while being in Midtown, he always felt depressed and like a jerk, so that's why he started Cobra; to get away from all that. I think the band members are all in a different stage of their lives now, and I am starting to doubt any Midtown reunions. I can see maybe one more tour, just playing the old stuff, but definately not any new material.

i think midtown is supposed to get back together eventually. they never broke up, they're just on a"[n indefinite] break." plus, i know midtown dealt with some pretty serious subject matter, and gabe formed cobra to tell people to stop taking themselves so seriously and to have fun...take that to mean what you will.

well see the thing is that Cobra Starship and Midtown have completely different sounds. i'm sure its possible to like both, but i don't. i love Midtown, and can somewhat tolerate Cobra Starship (though would never listen on a regular basis). i just resent that the formation of Cobra Starship equalled the end to Midtown.
