Nascida em Chester e criada em Cambridge, Inglaterra, Michelle mora atualmente em Hollywood, Califórnia. Aos 9 anos estudava piano, compunha músicas originais e nunca mais parou.
Já recebeu os prêmios da Royal Academy of Music para piano e violino e Bishops Award por cantar.
Michelle é freqüentadora assídua da comunidade de cantores/compositores da Southern California, e tem se apresentado em clubes importantes como Whiskey A Go Go, the Hotel Cafe, Genghis Cohen, the Joint and the Temple Bar, além de muitos outros.

Mas seu maior trunfo é o de ser uma das maiores fornecedoras de música para as séries de TV americanas como: Alias, Grey’s Anatomy, Las Vegas, Smallville, Ghost Whisperer e MTV’s The Hills to name a few.
Na série “One Tree Hill” há oito canções de Michelle, incluindo “We Are Man and Wife” cantada ao vivo por ela própria durante o casamento no encerramento da temporada.
Recentemente, Michelle apareceu na trilha sonora de dois filmes importantes com a música “Bully” em “Sherrybaby” , estrelado por Maggie Gyllenhaal e “I’m There Too” na trilha sonora do filme “Peaceful Warrior”, estrelado por Nick Nolte. Neste final de ano Michelle escreveu a canção “Mind Wide Open” que foi apresentada no filme da Disney, “Bridge to Terabithia” .
