Yes, Michael Moore is a brilliant multi-reedist improvisor. Certainly he has more to do with music than the Michael Moore who makes budget propoganda disguised as documentary.

I doubt the political activist Michael Moore (Bowling for Columbine) has done very much musically to warrant the primary entry. There is a bassist by the name of Michael Moore (Arbors Records, History of Jazz Bass) as well. For most, and especially those outside the US, Michael Moore the reed player should be the primary entry for his long standing involvement and work in the modern jazz realm.

Its unfortunate that Michael Moore is being confused with Michael Moore. Personally I think Michael Moore is an incredibly better clarinet player than Michael Moore.
