phantomssiren Classic. Actually the first Meatloaf song I actually listened to, and it made me an instant fan. His collaborations with Jim Steinman are brilliantly composed. I also epecially love the video of this song. If you read into it, it has a subtle homage to Phantom of the Opera...which the story actually parallels the message in the song. But again....BRILLIANT.

musicaldemon Not even lying, this is one of my favorite pop number ones in history...I wish more artists had the ambition and bravado and adrenaline-laced vocal performance that Meat Loaf puts in here. He put his heart and soul into this and you can tell.
