Ago 24 2009, 12h24 por fmeraFollowing up on the earlier journal, Getting Artist Images to Look Their Best, here is a short guide to explain how images (be they square, tall, or wide) that you upload to artist galleries are cropped for eventual use in the library.
I'll use these images (taken from Simone Kopmajer's gallery) as a visual guide to show how your original artist pics will end up looking as library images. It works on the idea that cropping images square or tall - if your original shots allow this - really is the safer option, as they minimize further cropping when your images are processed. The duo rose to prominence in the 1970's while working under producers Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, had some 22 Gold Records and helped create the famous Philly Soul sound. They started performing in a touring singing group called The Epsilons who toured with & were managed by Otis Redding for two years before his death. They sang the backing vocals on the Arthur Conley hit song "Sweet Soul Music". They signed to Stax, before recording two singles as Talk Of The Town on the North Bay label. Eventually, while working with Philadelphia International records in the 70's they reached their peak.
The duo were already sucessful songwriters before having their own #1 singing hit with "Ain't No Stopping Us Now" in 1979. …
