I heard her song Cloud 9 on Wolf's Rain and I fell in love... I got all of her songs from animes she sang in, and then all of her albums. She's one of the first artists I got into.

-Probably Nights In White Satin, but I grew up listening to them and loving them because my mom also grew up loving them.

-That's pretty tough, because come on now, they're the Beatles, every album is amazing!!! I'll go with 1, because it has all the main hits on it.

What is your favorite lyric that 1 has sung? (Warren Zevon)
-Very hard to choose just one, he was so poignant and witty and amazing. But one of my favorites is from The French Inhaler: "I caught a glimpse of you, and your face looked like something Death brought with him in his suitcase". Best insult ever! I really need to use that on someone lol

How did you get into 11? (The Monkees)
-I caught reruns of the show the summer before 6th grade, and I was completely hooked.

What is your favorite song by 7? (Kinky Friedman)
-it's definitely The Ballad of Charles Whitman, it's the wittiest song about a mass murderer that I've ever heard lol ("there was a rumor about a tumor!")

What is a good memory you have involving 20? (Robert Downey Jr)
-hearing his song Broken over the end credits of his film Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. I was like OMGYAY!

Is there a song by 3 that makes you sad? (Elton John)
-a few of them, the version of Candle In The Wind '97 that he did after Princess Diana died makes my cry wicked hard.

-I like most of his stuff, but I think my absolute favorite has to be Outside Of A Small Circle Of Friends.

How did you get into 22? (Máire Brennan)
-someone on the Friends Of Josh Groban messageboard mentioned her, I like Celtic music so I checked her out and found out she's Enya's older sister and was in Clannad as well.

What was the first song you heard by 21? (Josh Groban)
-I'd guess it was probably To Where You Are, that was really his first big hit.

-Oooh, tough!! I'll go with Everything To Everyone.

-I haven't been fortunate enough to see him in concert yet

-I saw him in concert on September 29th!! <33

-so many, especially from his last few albums...his cover of NIN's Hurt makes me cry uncontrollably. I miss you, Johnny!

-Well they've only got 2, but I love their debut Hot Fuss a bit more than their more recent stuff

-I love "And my love for you is like a sinking ship, my heart is on that ship out on mid-ocean, and it's only love" from Heart Like A Wheel

-I love his whole album, but I really really love My Interpretation

-I don't really have one, unlike everything else I listen to, I don't listen to him for his lyrics lol His stuff's just catchy and he has a decent voice.

-I love the new one, but I'd have to say that I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning is my favorite

What is a good memory you have involving 25? (John Mellencamp)
-blasting his music in the summer and dancing around and singing like an idiot in my front yard haha

-Days That Are Over, I fell in love with it and checked out his other stuff.

-The Very Best of Elvis Costello, it's 2 discs of all his best songs!

-I've always loved them, I grew up with them

Did somebody of your friends like number 8? (Bon Jovi)
-none of them, which is pretty sad. I get made fun of all the time for listening to them. They don't have the 80s hair anymore people, so you can stop mocking them kthx.

What is your favorite song by 14? (George Harrison)
-it's gotta be My Sweet Lord, I love it!

1. How did you get into 31?

Girls Aloud: I'd read about them before and, as they sing pure pop fluff, I decided to listen to some of their stuff. :)

2. What was the first song you ever heard by 22?

Richard Ashcroft: A Song For The Lovers. I absolutely adore this song!

3. What's your favourite lyric by 41?

There are two '40's on my top 50, so I guess Mint Royale would be 41, technically. Funnily enough, the only Mint Royale song I have is Blue Song and its various remixes, which I heard via the music video starring Noel Fielding of The Mighty Boosh. Turns out it's a terribly cool song! Anyways. I don't think anyone knows just what is being said in the song, but the one bit I can make out is therefore my favorite lyric:

'I ain't got the blues no more, I said'

Well, either that bit or 'Boom-dee-i-yay', if that is indeed what is sung.

4. What is your favourite album by 49?

Haha, South Park. All I have is Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics!

5. How many albums by 13 do you own?

Dido has so far only released two albums, No Angel and Life for Rent, so... two. :)

Deepika: Get Off My Back

7. Is there a song by 4 that makes you sad?

Dana International: Hargasha Tova a lovely, bittersweet track.

8. What is your least favourite song by 15?

Who could dislike anything by Dannii Minogue? ;) Um, I guess if I had to choose one I don't like very much... I'm gonna cheat and go with a remix that I don't care for: Don't Wanna Lose This Feeling (Stella Brown vocal mix). Booooring!

9. What is your favourite song by 5?

How in the world can I pick just one song by Clannad?! Nil Sen La is a classic, but so are pretty much all of their early songs. A Mhuirnín Ó is one of their more recent classics.

10. Is there a song by 6 that makes you happy?

A happy song by Sinéad O'Connor? Surely you jest! :) Seriously though, Dense Water, Deeper Down and Josey Walsh bring a smile to my face: 'Dense Water' ends on an innuendo-laden lyric (well I think so, at least) and 'Josey Walsh' just sounds happy - it's all bouncy and whatnot.

11. What is your favourite album by 40?

I'm actually not a big Tori Amos fan at all, but some of her stuff is neat. I guess of all the albums I've heard of hers, I like From the Choirgirl Hotel the best.

12. What is your favourite song by 10?

Who can choose one song by The Beatles?! I've always loved While My Guitar Gently Weeps, but that's hardly representative of their work, is it? But I do love it.

13. What is a good memory you have involving 33?

Sophie Ellis-Bextor: Hmm, nothing memorable happened to me involving any of her songs. Ah! I tell a lie, of sorts: I was looking for a hairstyle online and came across a photo of her from her modeling days, but it was just thrown in among other photos from that hairstylist with no caption or anything to indicate that 'It's Sophie Ellis-F*cking-Bextor!'. I was shocked, I can tell you.

14. What is your favourite song by 37?

Two '36's, so '37' would be Goldfrapp technically. I really like Twist and the Benassi mix of Strict Machine.

15. Is there a song by 19 that makes you happy?

Ah, the wonderful Mylène Farmer! Deshabillez-Moi is fun. :)

The Spice Girls? Never, sadly! :(

Genie In A Bottle was the first Christina Aguilera song I heard.

Bridin Brennan has only released one album so far, which is terribly sad, as she's a wonderful singer. First song: Face To Face

Haha, years ago I had about a week where I was unable to get the chorus of Yalla Chant out of my head. The chorus consists of only one word - 'yalla' - and I suppose it's my favorite Natacha Atlas lyric, because she manages to make that one word sound so unique each time she sings it!

Frozen. Hands down my fave Madonna track. :)

Infernal: From Paris to Berlin. Such a great song!
