Mariusz and Steven Wilson are my favourite musicians in the world at the moment. The song they did together was nothing short of a masterpiece. If only the two could to a whole album together they're guaranteed to create something very special.

v Yes. As well as "Suspended in Whiteness." ¶ WoaFB I've concluded is basically "Impressions" with lyrics.

I'm starting to find this every bit as boring as Steven least this project outright says that it's ambient though

the whole WoaFB album has a nice wintry feeling to it. Very good stuff. Also nice to listen to this album while playing skyrim, especially when wandering around in winter landscapes. But it's too bad "Stars Sellotaped" isn't 4-5 minutes longer. It's wonderful.

The new album sounds a lot like OSI's earlier work, and you can definitely hear the influence of Steven Wilson at times. Nevertheless it's a pretty good experimental record.

vvv I can't recall which track (it was only one - maybe Pygmalion's) which had what I think was an electric guitar in it, but when I hear it again, I'll suggest it. ¶ I'm thinking most of the "underlying" percussion is electronic. Then the drummer (is it the same guy from Indukti?) will start banging away on top of that sometimes (like at the end of "Cold"). "Gutter" sounds like that too, as do most of the other tracks. ¶ All this is fine, it's just that the transition from live band sound on the last albums to this is more electronic direction feels to me a bit stark. Don't get me wrong, I love the album, and it's a zillion times better than most anything else out there, but not quite up to snuff with LS1 & 2.

Dogger_Dog - there's no electric guitar on the new LS album. Duda said that in the interviews. He also said that he wanted to do somethig different than on the previous ones, that's why... it's a bit different :)

Okay, I'll be the first to say something critical. For me, there's too much electronic percussion and bass for my taste, and the introduction of electric guitar (albeit modest) isn't exactly what I enjoyed about previous LS albums (all acoustic). While I like hearing "space" and atmospheric drifting, this album fills itself up with a little bit too much "space" occasionally. However, with that said, I think the title track "Walking on a Flashlight Beam" is one of Duda's biggest triumphs. I also enjoy "Cold."
